LATEST CHAMBER NEWS

Just in case you missed it, on Thursday, June 21st, The Hillside Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Awards Event at the Hillside Historical Society located at 111 Conant Street.

Hillside Chief of Police Robert Quinlan gave awards to Detective John Baum Jr, as well as Detective John Shust.  These Detectives were chosen to receive these awards because of their professional achievements in the line of duty and daily contributions to the Hillside Police Department and the people of Hillside.

M.A.D.E. Stars Performing Arts School performed with dance routines showcasing their different age groups and different styles of dance.  M.A.D.E. Stars is located at 1299 Liberty Avenue and can be reached at 973-900-9909.  They offer classes in pointe, ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, theatre, vocals, and zumba fitness.  They also offer themed kids parties!  Check out the website at www.madestars.com.

Once again, the entertainment was provided by Oldies For You, Pete Krill.  As soon as Pete plugs in his guitar, its difficult for anyone to sit still.  If you close your eyes, you would think that an eight piece band is performing in front of you when this solo act performs.  Pete can be reached at 908-358-9332 and his website is www.oldiesforyou.com.

Once again, we want to thank everyone who attended and made this Hillside Chamber event a success.

And dont forget to keep checking our new and improved website for dates and information on upcoming events.
